Sandra Lopez, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She graduated with honors and form part of the Phi Theta Kappa Society as a Board Certify Physician Assistant from Miami Dade College in 2005. She chose dermatology as her specialty due to the diversity such as medical, surgical and cosmetic procedures.

Sandra has been practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology for more than 16 years and her professional affiliations include the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA), The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). Sandra is also an SDPA Diplomate with a high-level commitment to providing each patient the best care according to her training and experience in the field of dermatology that includes the skills, tools, and knowledge to perform an outstanding job.

Sandra enjoys spending time with her patients properly answering questions and educating them regarding skin cancer, skincare, cosmetics, and medical treatments needed. She is well known for performing very thorough examinations and offers compassionate care to all her patients. She believes in developing personal relationships that help her patients feel comfortable and understand the importance of prevention and early detection of skin cancer. Based on her experience as a Dermatological, Surgical, and Cosmetic Physician Assistant she can diagnose and treat patients in all areas of Dermatology with the goal of providing outstanding care to their needs approaching patients like family.

In her leisure time, Sandra enjoys her husband and three children, loves and appreciates outdoor activities along with exercise and relaxation.
