Dr. Brandon M. Markus is a Board Certified Dermatologist and also a fellowship trained Mohs Surgery specialist.  Dr. Markus specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, one of the most effective state-of-the-art procedures for treating skin cancer.  Dr. Markus has an eye for detail and enjoys getting to know his patients while providing the highest quality treatments to achieve exceptional patient outcomes. 

Dr. Markus graduated Cum Laude from BYU-Hawaii where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.  While in Hawaii, Dr. Markus met and married his wife Melissa.  After college, Dr. Markus attended medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.  Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Markus completed a residency in Dermatology at Western University of Health Sciences/Silver Falls Dermatology in Salem, Oregon where he served as Chief Resident.  Dr. Markus then went on to complete a Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology under the direction of Dr. William Lear, MD.

Dr. Markus is married to his wife Melissa and has two sons and two daughters.  Aside from surgery, Dr. Markus enjoys spending time with his family, attending his kids’ sporting events and concerts as well as going to the beach (with lots of sunscreen).  He also enjoys volunteering abroad, golf, amusement parks and family BBQs.  Dr. Markus is excited to call Florida his new home where he can make a positive impact in the lives of his patients.
